Maxine on Foster Care
Becoming a Fostering Ambassador at this time in my life, I felt was the perfect time to share my knowledge and passion when it comes to placing children in care with the right foster families.
Having spent 11 years working within the NHS, I’ve seen first hand how important families are. I’ve seen the difference in a patient when they’ve had their loved ones visit.
Everyone deserves that feeling.
At 32 with two young children and about to start a Nursing Degree, you could say my plate was full.
I hope there are other mums out there with families of their own, who read this and enquire about Fostering and all the options that are there for you to make a difference to a child when they need it the most.
Are Your A Foster Carer?
